An e-book cover for a selection of poetry I’ve been working on. There wasn’t any real prompt to the image, so I went with the concept of rumpus. I thought someone causing a huge scene at a fancy party was a kind of rumpus and the publisher seemed to like it too!

This is so COMPLETELY true. I feel like alot of what SCAD/the animation community in general values above all is working in a feature film environment, but it’s such a small slice of the pie. If that’s the only reason you got into art professionally, you’re probably not in the right field.
